Q. What is Amazon Affiliate Marketing?
A. It’s allows me to link to a product and earn money from people who buy the product or subsequent products after clicking on the link.
Q. Does Amazon Affiliate Marketing cost anything to me, an individual who visits your site?
A. No, none whatsoever. Amazon has a revenue stream built into every product they sell on their site. You can buy the product through one of my links and nothing is added on top of the cost.
Q. Does Amazon Affiliate Marketing cost anything to the seller?
A. No, at least directly. Sellers put product on the site with an agreement to Amazon to be sold. Amazon is an aggregation mechanism to drive sales for products and this comes at a cost already to sellers. So, you can buy through one of my links or you can buy direct, it costs the same regardless. I hasten to say that it actually eats into whatever profit Amazon makes at the end of the day.
Q. Are you sure that it doesn’t cost anything to me or the seller?
A. Yes!
Q. How much money do you make for Amazon Affiliate Marketing? Are you going to get rich and retire?!
A. I believe that there have been $400 or so dollars spent over the past few months. I ended up getting $0.25 At this rate, in order to get $1 million I would have to see $160 in sales.

Q. Why are you using Amazon Affiliate Marketing?
A. To make a few $ and pay for cost of upkeep and etc.
